It says that you're a "fee-only" financial planning firm, what does that mean?

Being "fee-only" is an important element of our company culture. It means that we do not sell any products or receive commissions of any kind. Instead we provide a flat fee for service, allowing us to make unbiased decisions for our clients.


will i be working with a DEDICATED financial planner?

Yes, all financial planning advice will be provided by a financial planner who has agreed to the Fiduciary Oath. Our Founder and CEO, Renee Bonsell, will be present in your meetings to help guide you through the financial planning process.



All of our clients are smart enough to create and manage their own financial plans, but they're also smart enough to know they don't want to! As a pharmacist, your time is valuable, and by hiring us you'll be streamlining the financial planning process and delegating the financial stressors in your life to a professional, allowing you to spend more quality time doing what you love.


Who is your typical client?

Our typical client is a young professional, or family, who is smart, driven, and enjoys living life. Whether they have limited financial resources or significant wealth, they share the common goal of wanting to achieve financial peace of mind. They understand that financial planning is not a sprint; it's a marathon, and they're looking for a coach to help them reach the finish line.


Who is not a good fit for pharmacist wealth?

If you're looking for a firm that can "beat" the stock market, or you're interested in trying to time the market, we probably are not a good fit for each other. We believe that wealth is created through patience and discipline over the course of many years.

No. We can meet virtually using web conferencing software, and with one click you'll be able to view our computer screen and connect to the audio through your headset or telephone.


Do you work with people outside of ohio?

Yes. We work with clients across the country, and because of our flexible meeting schedule we're able to accommodate clients in all time zones.



We focus on crafting an investment allocation based on your unique goals and risk tolerance, and keeping investment fees as low as possible. As a fee-only firm, we will never recommend an investment that carries a sales load or commission.


is my money safe?

Pharmacist Wealth will not take custody of any of your bank accounts, investment accounts, or assets. We encourage our clients to keep their money in accounts insured by the SIPC and/or FDIC, and to carefully review their statements each month.



No. We offer a complimentary discovery meeting to see if we might be a good fit to work with each other. At the end of the meeting we will quote your fee and discuss next steps.


How do you get paid?

We are a fee-only financial planning firm. That means that we charge a flat fee and do not get paid any commissions, kick backs, or “trails.” We believe this is the fairest form of compensation.


You sure do talk shop a lot, Do you have any your interests outside of work?

Renee is an avid horseback rider, half-marathon runner, and golfer. She also enjoys spending time with her husband and their beagle. A healthy work-life balance is something we value deeply!

How We Charge

We charge a flat fee for service, allowing us to make unbiased recommendations for our clients.


We designed our fee structure to be transparent and easy to understand. As a fee-only financial planning firm, we do not sell financial products or receive commissions of any kind. Instead, we charge a flat annual fee of either $1,000, $2,000, or $3,000. The factors that determine your fee will be your net worth and level of income.

Your fee will be quoted at the end of your complimentary discovery meeting, and will be jointly determined between you and Renee. Once your fee has been set, we guarantee that it will not increase for at least two years.

The benefit of working with a fee-only financial planning firm like ours, is that your fee only goes up if your wealth increases, too. This aligns our interests and removes any potential conflicts of interest. Our focus becomes applying economic analysis to all financial decisions to help you achieve your goals.

Unlike commission-based firms who may sell you a product, such as an annuity, and receive compensation regardless of suitability or performance, we only collect our fee if our clients are satisfied and reaching their financial objectives.
